Stuffed Chicken Milanesa
Ingredients
Los Altos Manchego Cheese, grated
Los Altos Cotija Cheese , grated
Los Altos Natural Mexican Cream
3 Chicken breasts (butterfly cut)
½ cup flour
1 ½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 cup tomato sauce
½ cup chicken broth
1 Tbsp butter
Salt and pepper
Vegetable oil
1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Closed in half, cover with flour and submerge each chicken breast in the beaten egg.
2. Mix the Cotija Cheese with the breadcrumbs and coat the chicken.
3. Fill the chicken with manchego cheese and close them with toothpicks so that the filling does not come out.
4. In a pan with hot oil, cook one side of the milanesa for 15 minutes over medium-low heat. Use the tongs to turn them over and cook for 10 more minutes. When you take them out, let the oil drain a little on a rack.
5. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add the tomato sauce, chicken broth, and Natural Cream, heat over medium heat for 5 minutes.
6. Serve the milanesas with sauce on top, add a little cream and cotija cheese. Enjoy.
