Green chilaquiles
Serves: 4
Ingredients
12 corn tortillas cut in triangles
1 package of Los Altos Queso Fresco
8 tomatoes
2 serrano peppers
¼ onion
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup cilantro chopped
Enough oil to fry
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup Los Altos Crema Mexicana Natural
8 slices of red onion
1. Fry the tortillas in hot oil and once they are well browned, remove to absorbent paper, reserve.
2. In a saucepan, boil the tomatoes with the onion, garlic, serrano pepper, once they are soft, remove them.
3. Blend with part of their liquid and half of the cilantro.
4. Sauté the tomato mixture in a pot with a little oil and let it boil for a few minutes, adjust the seasoning.
5. Serve on plates, bathe the tortilla chips with the tomato sauce and finish decorating with the crumbled cheese, cream, red onion and cilantro.
